Maybe you find yourself today in a place I’ve found myself before. A place where the light in you has grown a little dim. You may be a bit weary or even find yourself drowning in despair or hopelessness. You find yourself in a hopeless situation and can’t see a way out. You’re desperate. You may feel as if God’s promises are very distant. At one time you may have believed in the promises of the LORD but now you can’t seem to relate. Your hope has been diffused and dismantled.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
May I offer a word of hope? KEEP BELIEVING! BELIEVE AGAIN! No one can take away your choice to believe! It is your choice to believe the promises of God. No matter the situation or the struggle we may find ourselves in, whatever dark place we may find ourselves in; it is with our will that God has given to each of us, that we choose to believe. We can choose to hope and place our trust in Jesus and NOBODY can take that away from us! When we believe we move mountains!
“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
““What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.””
So I ask you today, what or where are you choosing to place your hope and trust in? Our efforts, our wisdom, finances, the government, our friends and family, our finances, everything else will fail us but the promises of God will NEVER fail! Choose to believe in Jesus today! No matter how small your faith is, even as small as a mustard seed place it in Him. Speak the promises of God, His Word, life over your circumstance, over your life and the areas where all you see is death.
But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
